Medical Research Technician - Dept. of Virology

Qualification:  A minimum of Bachelor ‘s degree in Science filed is required - AFRIMS Virology in Bangkok station.  Responsibilities/Duties will include blood specimen processing including buffy coat cells collection, serum/plasma preparation, specimen shipment and archiving. Individual must be able to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing and speaking), Microsoft Office, QA/QC experience preferred.

Senior Clinical Research Coordinator -  Dept. of Virology

This position will work at Kamphaeng Phet – AFRIMS, Virology Research Unit in Kamphaeng Phet.  A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.  Four to five years of experience, of which one to two years have been spent specifically as a research nurse involved in the conduct of clinical trials.  Must be knowledgeable in Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and concepts of Quality Control and Assurance (QC/QA).  Must be familiarization with clinical study and case report forms.  Must have fundamental knowledge on computer systems and information management.  Able to independently compose a departmental SOP and SSP, clinical study forms; Able to perform quality control measures during the execution of a clinical study; Able to recognize protocol deviations and assist study investigators in the proper documentation and correction of said deviation.  Able to organize and maintain, according to GCP standards, all documentation relating to the conduct of a clinical study and subject to inspection and audit by various committees and agencies.  Fluency in Thai (Level V) and English (Level IV) are required.  Must be able to read, comprehend and write scientific and clinical medicine principles and concepts.  Computer Skills is required.  The quality assurance experience is needed.

Qualifications Required:

Basic function: Provide general administrative support to the Department of GEIS. Duties include planning organizing, logistic, financial, and administrative, personnel and communication support.

Public Affairs Officer - Dept. of Administration

Qualification Requires:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in journalism, mass communications, marketing, or equivalent. (Masters degree preferred)
  2. A minimum of three years experience in marketing, public affairs, or public relations.
  3. Ability to translate marketing and public relations material from English to Thai and Thai to English.
  4. Ability to work independently and develop strategic marketing and public relations plans.
  5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, graphics, and publishing related software programs.

  The salary range is 25,000-45,000 Baht per month, commensurate with education and experience.
