NIH Grant Writing Software
The
Research Support Section can radically simplify the NIH grant
application preparation process for principal investigators
and collaborators. AFRIMS uses the GrantSlam
software package that allows relatively painless NIH application
preparation. The package contains two essential elements.
Storage
Element:
- stores
all data for the grant application in a central database
- backed
up locally and remote
Production
Element:
- takes
that data places it into the correct fields of the grant application
- performs
the real-time calculations for the budget
- pick
and choose function for quickly adding researchers and biosketchs.
- applications can then be printed to paper for submission
to the NIH or a .pdf document for emailing to collaborators.
GrantSlam automates the application process for all
PHS-398 (including SBIR Phase 1 and Phase
2) and PHS-2590 forms.
Originally designed
by a medical researcher, it will help you prepare your NIH/PHS
grant applications as easily and accurately as possible. It
contains everything you need to apply for new, revised,
competing continuation, and supplemental research
grants, including Research Career Awards (RCA) and
Institutional National Research Service Awards (INRSA).

Old patch-together
methods are tedious and unnecessary. Stop re-entering your data
over and over, enter it once and benefit from GrantSlam's proposal
repository. Thousands of proposals have been successfully
submitted using NIH-compliant, GrantSlam-generated forms.
GrantSlam contains
the latest NIH forms. With new features and improvements throughout
the product, Version 6 is the most powerful product ever, which
means more time to conduct research and better odds of getting
it funded.
Let GrantSlam help
you and your colleagues get those proposals done on time!
